Plant hybrids

This gallery shows some biological combinations grown at "El Refugio". These hybrids are the result of successfull fertilization of ovules of one species with pollen grains of another species, resulting in individuals with intermediate characteristics.  Some of the hybrids depicted in this gallery (those ones marked with an asterisk * before the name of the genus) have been obtained at El Refugio, either by artificial or spontaneous pollination.
